Hats (part 1)

This Twitter event, #DrawingAugust, inspired me to draw some hats. Most of them are digital drawings, done with a tablet and pen attached to my laptop. The hats, however, are real.

Brush and Quink

I wrote enough about Quink in my last post. This post has a couple of brush drawings that were made with Quink, which was then diluted with water and moved around the paper. The first drawing has a little white acrylic in it, too.

You may have noticed the term "#DrawingAugust" appearing in my recent posts.

I was asked by a colleague if I had painted a LEGO train driver. I hadn't, but we did have a suitable figure, so now I have.

Praa Sands - sketches

The day before we went to Marazion (Mount's Bay), the weather was dull but we were itching to visit the beach. The kids took their bodyboards; I took my sketchbook.
