Towards the end of the poppy season, we took an evening stroll up on the local hills, and encountered poppies growing in front of a large pile of logs.
This image, however, is a composite. The wind was blowing the actual log stack poppies around, and - to be honest - the poppy season was nearly over, so I used some poppies from another photograph. The scruffy greenery is sticky buds, more properly known as cleavers.
