The Hurlers, left and right

This is a "housekeeping" post intended to simplify navigation. It is not a new painting.

The Hurlers is a complex of stone circles on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall.
Legend has it that the stones were people who played at the game of hurling on the sabbath, and were turned into stone by a displeased deity. My paintings - in which I took care to include the distant engine houses - are based on an Easter visit to the site.

Original posts:

Both oil on canvas, 20 x 30 inches
£400 each

Limited edition fine art prints are available of both paintings
