This is my second lunchtime sketch of this charming little church.
It's about 20 to 25 minutes away from my workplace by bicycle (possibly less, if you are fitter than me, which is not difficult), up and down hills and along narrow country lanes. So, it's not a short lunch break - the sketch probably took about the same time, 20 to 25 minutes - but it is a very satisfying one.
My first sketch was in oil pastel, and took the church on looking straight at the door. This one is, I think, from a better viewpoint (from the gate of the cemetery over the road). It was done in an assortment of pencils, chiefly Derwent Drawing.
